The Steinbeis-Transferzentrum Qualitätssicherung und Bildverarbeitung has been established in August 1992 in Suhl. We moved our office to the technology region Ilmenau in 2002. All times our claim is the provision of excellent services focusing on customer benefit at competitive prices. The Steinbeis-Transferzentrum is not only a service provider. Our employees do their best in providing optimal solutions and achieving cost-effective impacts for our clients.
Our business activities focus on:
- industrial image processing, software products and hardware (unique solutions and small series)
- applied research and development
- statistical techniques of quality assurance and CAQ
- consulting and further education
- workshops and employee training for quality assurance, image processing and production measurement technology
- offering DGQ (German Society for Quality) courses for obtaining internationally recognised DGQ certificates
- preparation of companies for certification according to ISO 9001:2000
- consulting of companies regarding raising funds for research and development projects
The direct neighborhood to the Technische Universität Ilmenau as well as the collaboration with the DIN standardisation committee ›Quality Management, Statistics and Certification Fundamentals‹ (NQSZ) ensures the transformation of newest research results into industrial practice. It also guarantees a sophisticated education respectively trainings level of our employees. Furthermore it enables us to directly pass on latest research results and trends to our customers.
Steinbeis Network
The Steinbeis Transfer Center Qualitätssicherung und Bildverarbeitung (STZ) is a part of the Steinbeis Network headed by the Steinbeis Foundation situated in Stuttgart. The Steinbeis was established in 1971.It is named after Ferdinand von Steinbeis who forwarded modern industry, economy and trading in Baden-Wuerttemberg in the nineteenth century. The Steinbeis Foundation comprises a Board of Directors, a Board of Trustees and a Committee. Steinbeis GmbH & Co for Technology Transfer is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Steinbeis Foundation and is responsible for all business activities. The Steinbeis Transfer Network currently owns over 600 Steinbeis-Companies, subsidiaries and equity holdings in companies. It also has cooperation agreements and project partners in 50 countries. Specializing in expert disciplines, Steinbeis Transfer Centers work in all fields of technology and management.
